Poppies 4


I'll be so glad when this is finished.

I'm going to do something smaller next time.

Well done. It looks like you are on the home stretch. Do you have any plans for what you are going to do next? Following up from your comment on my blog Mary Wigham is approx 20" x 20" but a quick stitch as there are not so many colour changes. Chatelains vary in size, have lots of colour changes, beads and speciality stitches. I am enjoying doing both.

I'll be like a kid in a sweetshop when I've finished the poppies though because I've seen some wonderful designs on here.

It really looks lovely. We are off to France next week where we should see many poppies in the fields. Poppies are our flowers of remembrance in the UK. I am really looking forward to seeing it finished.

This is such a gorgeous piece and your stitching is so nice. I'm sorry you're finding this so cumbersome but your progress is so enjoyable to watch. I know you're looking forward to finishing this. I'm looking forward to your finish too!
