This is the first UFO ~ I plan to stitch and finish. I know what frame I want to use and which matting will look great on it. This is where I am with the stitching. It has been a UFO for about 6 years.I did this for a former boyfriend and he has it in his house. When we broke up I asked him to give it back to me if he didn't want to keep it. Why would he if he didn't love the stitcher anymore? All he could say was no and so. . . He said NO! thought I'd ask!!!
So . . . since I love the sea and the piece I decided I would just stitch one for me. The finished picture is so delicate.
The designer is Lanarte by Leisure Arts.
It became a UFO cause I got tired of so many starts and stops with changing colors.
I plan to stitch at least a week on it before I rotate it with other UFO's. If I really get into it I will stay with it tell I finish it.

What a lovely design! I'm really going to enjoy watching this grow. It's great that you refused to accept your ex's denial and decided to just make one for yourself. I hope with the matting and framing you've selected, it will be even better than his when done!
