Celestial Dragon update

Just a quick update. I got 5 afternoons in instead of 3 so I have a whole leg and more spine. I've been thinking about everyone's comments the other day regarding back stitching and now am wondering if I should do some as I go along on this project because there is a lot! And I fall in the category that while I love what it does I'm not much a fan of executing it. Something to mull over while I switch to another project for the rest of this week.

You're doing really well. You must be really pleased with you progress.
Happy stitching to you

Great progress. Maybe others who have done TWs will give you their advice but mine is do it as you go. I did Michael Powell's larger Tuscan Garden and left the backsitich until the end. For me that was a big mistake. My last UFO is one of the other Tuscan Gardens, the less said about that the better, but when I do get round to stitching it I will not make the same mistake again. Lokking forward to seeing future progress pics.

Looks good. Backstitching as you go will break it up some and maybe make more bearable!

You're dragon is coming along nicely!! I DEFINITIVELY backstitch as I go (I bead too as I go). Especially on a TW project, I encourage you to do it as you go!!

Thank you for the feedback. I think I will do some of the back stitching next time I pick it up.

I am doing a TW and backstitch as I go, it helps me keep my place and I know that a section is complete which is encouraging. The colours are lovely and I koof forward to your next one.

Great progress!!!! I also recommended to backstitch as you go along. I didn`t when I first started the Peacock Tapestry and I am not looking forward to going back and doing it now.
