Peacock Tapestry

I started this early 2004 so it has not been "on the go" as long as I thought. It took over two hours to collect the threads together again and sort them out so that they would be easy to find. There are over 70 colours and over 70 different blends! Now I remember why I stopped doing it. I have been so impressed with Flo's carousel horse that I decided I must try to finish the peacock. I hope to do so some every week but I am expecting progress to be slow. I am going to post another UFO shortly, one which I am going to do over the next twelve months in Yoyo's Christmas SAL.

This has always been one of my favorite designs. I love the colors. Can't wait to see your progress.

Peacocks are wonderful birds. I can't imagine how many hours are left stitching, but it will be worth it when it is finished.

Oh you have my sympathy -- all those threads. All those blends. Ack.

It is lovely though... and I know you can do it!

So pleased to see you have sorted your threads and can now start your stitching. Think positive and you'll get there. The blends are ..... well they just are, but they look good.
It took me months to get into doing my TW UFO but I'm sure you'll be more confident about it than I was. I'll be watching. Happy stitching to you.

Another TW UFO and the second peacock on this blog! I am sure you will get lots of support from the others doing TW projects as well as the rest of us. I look forward to seeing your progress. What are you going to do with it when it is finished?

Looks like you are more than halfway on this one! Hope you continue to keep at it.

I can sympathize with the number of threads and blends but it will be beautiful when finished. Stitching a little at a time will get it finished.
