May be I should go away more often!

This is my latest progress report on the Teepee Bears Door Hanger. I have been away for a few days and took this a long with some other stuff with me. The backstitch on one side is finished as is all the cross stitching on the other side. I now know why this became a UFO. There was not enough of the pale yellow floss provided. You can just about make out the slight difference in colours in the 'box' as I had to use a DMC equivalent to finish it. Now it's more backstitching. I an hoping to get this finished (made in to a door hanger) by the end of June. Then what do I do with it? The baby it was intended for is almost 13!

Feels good to get these done even if they are really old UFOs, doesn't it?

As for what to do with it, maybe you could donate it to a craft sale held by an organization in your community. I've donated some stitched ornaments and kits that weren't my taste anymore to our church for a flea market and they all sold.

Nearly there, Is this going to be the second UFO to bite the dust?
Hope you know someone who is going to have a baby shortly or else donate to a school raffle !!

A charming design. There's always Ebay or suggestions already made. Have you decided on your next UFO?

It will probably be the Michael Powell as I really can't face the Country Companions. Maybe I should have a vote.

The color difference is negligible and that makes it uniquely yours. It's a very cute design. You could save it until someone else you know has a baby.
