Next UFO please step up

I have been reviewing the UFOs I have, and I think this one is probably the best to tackle over summer...due to the black Aida.
The design is a Janlynn one, called Tropical Waterline.
I bought it I would guess more than 13 years ago, possibly 15..with the intention of completing it and presenting it to my ex...then husband, for a birthday/Xmas/anniversary. He has a thing about fish being a Pisces. Anyway, it got pushed to one side as our relationship grew worse. But, I think after being divorced for almost 10 years, and being on better terms with him than I was in the breakdown of our marriage...I can bear to finish it and give it to him, as I intended when I started it. I'm not going to say how long each day I will work on it, because I know I won't manage it, but I will try to work for around 2 hours/week on it. That isn't a big ask. I'll try to post progress every other Sunday, and fingers crossed it will be finished before the winter starts to creep up on us.

That's really cool that this one will be finished and given to your ex who it was intended for.

This looks an interesting design. Good look with the dark background. i'm sure it'll look great when finished. I'll be following.

Happy stitching to you.

Good luck with this one. Years ago I stitched an ocean scene on blue. it did, and still does, look good.

I love the way the bright threads pop on that fabric. It will look great when it's complete I'm sure.
