Jane Longstreth is finished! This sampler has been a work-in-progress since 2005 (or so) and was finished on 6-17-11. The sampler is a reproduction of one done by Jane Longstreth, a resident of Chester County, Pennsylvania, when she was 14 years old. The original is in the collection of the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College. It includes over-one stitching, stem stitches and satin stitches done on 36-count with AVAS threads.Monday, 20 June 2011
