Sail Away . . .

This is a close up of the
bottom of my
Sail Away!

I put a glow in the dark
blending filament in the
lighthouse
and
upstairs window
as though someone was waiting
for their loved one to return
from the sea.

Happy Dance, Happy Dance and Happy Dance!!!

I got this one framed finally
and it is one of my favorite pieces.

I put two suede mats on it and
floated them away from each other by
about 1/4 inch.

It gives the piece depth.

I used the kit but added some silk
I got from a company called
Down Under.

They are variegated and very soft.
I used them
in the Quaker motifs and for the water.

I didn't put in the big flowers, added some
extra sheep and changed
the alphabet to my favorite.

It is truly one of my own and I love it.

Thanks for looking your comments mean the
world to me.

God Bless your stitching fingers.

Thanks ladies for your wonderful comments they mean a lot to me.
Terri you would have to look very closely for that one tiny window that is supposed to be glowing in the dark. I just went and looked and you can't even see the lighthouse windows. So much for glow in the dark.
Take care all and God Bless you for leaving me comments.
